Smashing Fundraising Targets with Haringey Giving

At Alexander James Contracts, delivering social value is an integral part of how we work, particularly in the communities where we are actively delivering projects. In the London Borough of Haringey, this means going beyond construction to support people, opportunity, and long-term community benefit.

That’s why we were proud to partner with Haringey Giving as part of Haringey Giving Week, a borough-wide campaign that exceeded expectations and raised over £30,000 to support residents experiencing inequality and disadvantage across Haringey. The funds raised will support a range of grassroots initiatives, helping local people and organisations where support is needed most.

As part of our commitment, Alexander James Contracts Limited matched the first £5,000 of donations, helping to maximise the impact of the campaign and reinforcing our belief that social value should sit alongside high-quality project delivery.

Our support for Haringey Giving Week aligns closely with our ongoing presence in the borough. We are currently working on several projects across Haringey, including Wat Tyler House, where our focus extends beyond delivery to ensuring a positive, lasting legacy for the local community. Supporting local initiatives, charities, and partnerships is a key part of how we embed social value into our work across the borough.
