Alexander James Contracts is proud to have supported Haringey Giving’s Changing Lives 2026 campaign, helping the appeal exceed its £15,000 fundraising target.
Together, the campaign raised £21,722, or £22,719 including Gift Aid — more than double last year’s appeal total.
As lead supporter, Alexander James Contracts provided match funding of up to £10,000, helping to double the impact of public donations from businesses and individuals across the borough.
The Changing Lives Fund provides small grants of up to £750 to residents in Haringey, helping people take practical steps towards a goal or ambition that may otherwise be out of reach. This can include support with costs such as training, qualifications, travel to interviews, laptops for study, counselling, or other life-changing needs.
The funding is distributed through trusted local community groups and charities, ensuring support reaches residents who need it most.
Kevin Mullarkey, Director at Alexander James Contracts, said:
“Through match funding of up to £10,000, we’re proud to have helped Haringey Giving raise over £20,000 for residents who need support through the Changing Lives 2026 campaign.
“As a business working in Haringey, we believe it’s important to invest in the communities we serve, and we’re delighted to play a leading role in helping Haringey Giving create lasting, positive change for residents across the borough.”
The campaign also received generous support from a number of other businesses, including McConnell, Mullaley and Equans, alongside donations from individuals across the community.
Alexander James Contracts is committed to delivering meaningful social value beyond the projects we build, working with local partners to support communities and create positive, lasting impact.
